Basic Pay
Candidates selected through NDA and commissioned as officers receive pay according to the applicable defence service rank and pay rules.

Eligibility
Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions prescribed in the official NDA 2 2026 notification.
Educational qualification:
Army Wing: Class 12 pass or equivalent from a recognised board.
Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA: Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, or equivalent, as prescribed.
Indian Naval Academy 10+2 Cadet Entry: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Other requirements:
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed age and marital-status conditions.
Candidates must meet the applicable physical and medical standards.
Candidates shortlisted in the written examination must qualify the SSB selection process and subsequent medical requirements.
