Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has released the MP Police Constable Driver Recruitment 2026 notification for 1,000 vacancies. The rulebook specifies a pay scale of ₹19,500–₹62,000. During the first three years, the prescribed stipend is 70% of the minimum pay in the first year, 80% in the second year and 90% in the third year, according to the applicable government order.
Eligibility Criteria
General and other eligible non-ST candidates: Class 10th pass or equivalent qualification as prescribed in the rulebook.
ST candidates: Class 8th pass or the equivalent qualification prescribed for the category.
Candidates must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving licence.
Candidates must satisfy the applicable recruitment rules and provide the required certificates by the prescribed deadline.
A valid heavy-vehicle driving licence is mandatory. Candidates must also pass the prescribed practical driving and vehicle-maintenance trade test.
NationalityCandidates must be Indian citizens.
GenderThe recruitment is specified for male candidates only. Candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh can apply under the applicable unreserved category, but Madhya Pradesh domicile is required for state reservation benefits.
