Application timing: Online applications open at 12:00 noon on 13 October 2026 and close at 11:00 PM on 11 November 2026.

Payment Mode: SBI e-Pay through the online application portal.

The application fee, once paid, is non-refundable. Ex-servicemen who have already secured qualifying regular civil employment after availing reservation benefits may not be eligible for the fee exemption.

The age limit for both posts is as follows:

Candidates must have been born between 02 June 1999 and 01 June 2008, inclusive, subject to the notification's eligibility conditions.

Age relaxation is subject to the official notification. OBC reservation benefits are governed by Delhi-specific eligibility requirements; candidates holding an OBC certificate from another state should carefully check the notification.

A total of 25 vacancies have been announced under DSSSB Advertisement No. 05/2026.

The vacancies are tentative and may change according to the requirements of the recruiting department.

The notification specifies the above pay scale and grade pay. The actual salary payable will depend on the applicable pay rules, allowances and other admissible benefits. The figures above should not be interpreted as the exact monthly in-hand salary.

Candidates applying for either post must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

No essential or desirable work experience is specified for either post in the advertisement.

Candidates must satisfy the Indian citizenship requirements specified in the official notification.

• Age eligibility is determined as of 01 June 2026.

• Educational qualification and other applicable eligibility requirements are determined as of 11 November 2026.

The selection process consists of the following stages:

1. Objective-Type Written Examination (MCQ).

2. Interview.

• Examination duration: 120 minutes.

• Duration for PwBD candidates: 160 minutes, subject to applicable provisions.

• Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

• Examination language: Bilingual (Hindi and English), except for the respective language sections.

• Interview: 15 marks.

• Candidates shortlisted for the interview may be up to ten times the number of vacancies.

• Final merit is based on the written examination and interview, according to the prescribed selection scheme.

These are minimum qualifying marks, not guaranteed selection cut-offs. Actual selection depends on merit and the applicable recruitment rules.
